Each year, the University Research Council Research and Creative Activities Fair (URC Fair) is organized by the office of the Vice President for Research and held in conjunction with the annual conference of New Mexico Alliance for Minority Participation (AMP). This gathering provides an opportunity for the research and creatively-active community at NMSU to demonstrate its scope, develop new linkages with colleagues across the university, and show the community innovations taking place on campus. The URC Fair is open to all faculty/staff. Fair exhibitions are expected to be displayed by the faculty and/or professional staff involved in the projects. Graduate and undergraduate students are encouraged to attend.
This year's URC Fair will be held on September 30th at the Las Cruces Convention Center at the corner of University Avenue and Union Avenue/El Paseo. Presenters are requested to be present at their posters from 1:15 p.m. through 2:45 p.m. to interact with fair attendees. Setup time will be from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m.; exhibits must be taken down no earlier than 2:45 and no later than 3:15 p.m.
The deadline to register for the fair is 5:00 pm September 21st, 2016.
